EasyJet identified the need to engage specialist skills to improve the poor user experience over their live user Citrix application delivery environment. With login times taking up to 20 minutes, users and management alike wanted the problem to be investigated and remedied.

HMV/Waterstones
At the time Point to Point were engaged, each company had different means of delivering IT to users but both belonged to the HMV group of companies. On the one hand, HMV already had Citrix technology in place but it had been somewhat neglected and was in a poor state of repair, providing users with an unsatisfactory level of service and experience and therefore it had a poor name.

Leicestershire Police
The force has taken steps to bring policing back into the heart of local communities. This included replacing older, larger or out-of-town police buildings with modern, self-contained local policing units in the center of communities, and also deploying technology that would enable officers to spend less time at stations.

Spectris
We initially implemented a server virtualisation platform based around VMware’s ESX technology, however as the Microsoft Hyper-V technology became more fully featured, the customer saw value in replacing ESX and moving to a Hyper-V cluster solution which we assisted with.

In summary of our work with them, however, Point to Point was engaged by the client in 2009 after the Swine flu outbreak highlighted weaknesses in their remote access capabilities. PtoP was given the task of designing and implementing a fully-featured remote access solution.
