Strategy
The first stage at which Point to Point looks to engage with our customers is in the area of strategy.
This area of our business is a practice area in its own right and looks to work with our customers to help them understand their environment in greater detail, and critically to understand the key trigger points that will ultimately shape and determine your most appropriate and effective desktop and application delivery strategy.
We call this area of our business Strategic Formation Services (SFS) and we created this as a direct response to the sheer weight of confusion and complexity that we saw developing and permeating the desktop and application delivery landscape. As specialists in this area since the mid 90s, we witnessed the development of virtualisation in this area, and identified at a very early stage that the explosion of options that came with this would ultimately present a challenge to our customers.
SFS was a direct response to this and is based on the principles of helping our customers to understand more about themselves, and to be able to interpret these results into a well rounded and comprehensive strategy.
Typical engagements in this area take the shape of a core Desktop and Application Delivery Assessment, which in itself consists of five core areas of investigation:
